On the eastern side of Sifnos, opposite Paros and Antiparos and below the foothills of the Castle Hill there is a small pebble beach (ancient harbor of the island) called Gialos or "Seralia" from the old valleys (= palaces) that used to exist in the area.
The beach is small but is suitable for those who want to be away from the bustling beaches of the island.
